Yes you can! Previous studies in political and social sciences, law and economics provide the strongest foundation to attend the programme. However, the MTnG has a strong interdisciplinary component and seeks to enrol students with diverse backgrounds. Please write a clear statement in your motivation letter stating why you want to attend the programme.

Yes. If you have not obtained your title yet, please state in your application the day of expected graduation.

Please note that if you have not graduated before 31 July 2020, you will not be able to enrol.

No, the MTnG is a full-time, two-year programme and attendance is mandatory. 
No, all programmes at the European University Institute start in the Autumn semester.
Applications for exchange programmes open in the second semester of the first year. During the first semester, you will attend a workshop about choosing the right STG exchange programme for you. 
Yes, the STG offers financial support through scholarships (covering tuition fees and living costs) and a tuition fee waiver scheme (full and partial). Students needing financial support are encouraged to apply early.
Yes. Attendance to the boot camp courses and activities is compulsory and awards 1 ECTS. 

The only language requirement is a good knowledge of English. The expected level is C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

During the second year you can specialise in one of the following Consolidation Themes: 

Peace and Security; Trade and Finance; Sustainability (Climate, Migration and Welfare); Comparative Regional Governance; Gender Governance; Digital Politics, Economy and Societies; Transnational Democracy. 

Students can also choose sub-topics.
