Marcelo Mondelli is as researcher and consultant on issues related to human-mobility and frontiers for regional organisations like United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and MERCOSUR, where he served as advisor to the High Representative General from 2015 to 2017.
He was chief-researcher at the Social Institute of MERCOSUR, as well as research fellow for the Latin American Council of Social Sciences South/Program (2013-14) and the Centre for Training in Regional Integration (Cefir) in Uruguay. Mondelli also works as guest lecturer to postgrad-courses at Ceri /UNR, Argentina, the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) and Universidad Nacional Del Este (UNE, Paraguay). He published on issues linked to free movement and citizenship, inter-regionalism, asymmetries and small-States within the Southern Cone region.
Marcelo is currently pursuing a PhD on International Relations (RRII) at the Rosario National University (UNR), Argentina. He holds a MSc on RRII from UNR and the Dublin City University (Ireland, 2008); a BA (Hons) from Lincoln University (UK), and a Diploma from the MERCOSUR Training Institute Program ITALY-MERCOSUR (2008-2009).
