Gianandrea Nelli Feroci has worked for more than a decade on political and policy analysis applied to development cooperation and democratic governance projects planning and implementation for the EU, the UN and International NGOs. He is a political economy analysis (PEA) expert and has led PEAs applied to development planning in Bangladesh and Colombia. He also provided PEA methodology support to United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and Northern Africa. Gianandrea managed policy-focused initiatives in Latin America at The Carter Center, where he also led a research initiative to analyse the implications of China’s growing presence in Latin America and the Caribbean and its impact on the region’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Previously, he coordinated Oxfam’s research and policy in Latin America and the Caribbean and supported the research initiatives of Oxfam special programme to support civil society networks within the BRICSAMIT countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Mexico, Indonesia and Turkey).
