 Costanza Hermanin

Costanza Hermanin is a pro-European political activist and a professional with experience as public official, think tanker and advocate, lecturer, and party leader. Throughout her career, she has been working for both governmental and non-governmental organisations. Her work and research have addressed particularly race and gender equality, migration and the institutions and policies of the European Union.

Costanza holds MA and MPhil degrees from SciencesPo Paris and a PhD from the EUI. She has been a Fulbright Research Scholar at Columbia Law School and UC Berkeley, and taught at the College of Europe, SciencesPo, LUISS and John Cabot University.

Her fellowship project focuses on increasing the participation and impact of women in politics, with a focus on women from ethnic minorities, based on her experience as creator of the first party school for the political empowerment of women in Italy, #PrimeDonne.
