 Biba Jasmine

Biba Jasmine is an environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation professional with eight years of diverse experience of working with the government, bilateral and multilateral agencies, NGO’s and private sector. She is a Masters in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park (USA), and a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright-Nehru Scholarship. Biba has authored over 80 scientific and semi-scientific articles for environmental magazines in India. She was one of the chosen UNESCO’s Man and Biosphere (MAB) Youth Ambassador in 2017.

Biba has been awarded a full scholarship from the University of Queensland (Australia) to pursue her Ph.D. starting in October 2020. Currently, a Programme Officer with United Nations India for the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, she is working on the much talked and debated issue of climate change.
