Khaled Saleh

Khaled Saleh is a policy maker from Egypt. He is a PhD researcher in economics, focusing on development issues. He has been a board member at Egypt Expo and Convention Authority (EECA), Ministry of Trade and Industry; the Secretary General of the Central Committee for Egyptian missions abroad; the Chairman of the Technical Secretariat of the Central Committee for appointment of the senior Egyptian Civilians leaders; the G.M of the Chairman`s Office of EECA; a board Member of the Central Committee for Appointment of the Senior Egyptian Civilians Leaders.

He has more than 20 years of practical work and professional experience in academia and the public sector. He works in the economic relations development, promoting exhibitions industry, trade, investment and tourism. He has been a visiting economic researcher in Slovakia and Estonia. He holds an M.Sc in economics; a 2-years diploma in politics and economics; a one-year diploma in development and planning; a certificate of an intensive training course on "management of exhibitions and conferences”, S.Korea; a fellowship`s degree in national strategy; a 4-years B.Sc in business administration; a 4-year B.A in mass communication.

He published a book titled "study of foreign markets and ways to enter it”.

At the EUI, Khaled will analyse trade relations between Italy and the North African countries.
