Federica Vinci is the President of Volt Italia, part of Volt Europa, a grassroots pan-European party that today counts more than 20.000 members in 30 European countries.
Graduated cum laude in International Public Management at Sciences Po, Paris, she focused on transnational security and European politics at the German Marshall Fund and the NATO Defense College. She also studied and practiced community organizing at the Harvard Kennedy School of Governance, and used this knowledge to create a community of more than 3000 activists around Italy.
She is among the “Future Makers” as one of the 100 most promising Italian students, according to the Boston Consulting Group. She wishes to focus her career on transnational parties.
At the EUI, she will build a method to help political activists creating transnational parties by combining digital technologies, community organizing and project management to spur European political participation and transform it into effective local engagement.
