Armiliza Magno

Fellowship period: 01 April 2020 - 30 June 2020

Prior to the Fellowship, Armiliza Magno served as a Senior Program Officer for a program management team based at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta. Her work focused on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and outreach—the former to ensure that ASEAN-Japan development cooperation programs and projects were effectively and efficiently implemented and the latter to ensure that their contributions were communicated and disseminated to relevant stakeholders.

Her eight-year experience on project management is backed up by extensive exposure to programs and projects geared towards policy reforms across a wide-array of sectors and operating both at the national and regional levels.

She has worked with both the government and civil society in the Philippines, including The Asia Foundation, a non-profit international development organization.

She is also a Knowledge Management practitioner and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Masters in Philippine Studies (External Relations) from the University of the Philippines.
