Topic: The Role of Development Cooperation in Building the ASEAN Community: Perspectives Beyond 2025

Prior to the Fellowship, Armiliza Magno served as a Senior Program Officer for a program management team overseeing ASEAN development cooperation programs and projects based at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta.

Her eight-year experience on project management, particularly on monitoring and evaluation (M&E), is backed up by extensive exposure to initiatives geared towards policy reforms across a wide-array of sectors and operating both at the national and regional levels. She has worked with both the government and civil society in the Philippines, including The Asia Foundation, a non-profit international development organization.

She is a Knowledge Management practitioner and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Masters in Philippine Studies (External Relations) from the University of the Philippines.
